Work Other than my hour-long lunch, work went well. I met a former prisoner of war. As far as I remember, his helicopter was shot down in Germany sixty years ago and held captive for a year before being liberated by Russia. It was interesting to hear, to say the least. My reaction? I had none, though awe might work.
iPod My iSkin came in, and I can only praise the case, even if the price wasn’t right. The silicon on top proved too thin for a slip of my fingers, but the tear is my own fault. I found that the purpose of the thinness is to allow the case to accommodate top-attaching accessories like the iTrip.
I’ve just been downloading music and transferring songs over. Today didn’t provide the best opportunities to listen to anything. Well, I’m listening to it right now, and I’m sure that sounds stupid since I’m on my computer. My reason for this is that the files are more organized on the iPod because I modified the ID3 tags directly on the device and forgot to change them in my iTunes library. I’ll organize, or hopefully reformat, my hard drive sometime soon.
Photos Only one picture was posted today, and I even went for a walk with Cobie and Maggie at City Beach. Nothing really came out how I desired. I saw Ricky with his shirt off. Sweet.
Site I am happy with the site. Posting pictures takes a few steps more, but that is because I have started paying attention to image compression. I definitely enjoy being able to post pictures and text entries separately. No more one sentence text entries just so the picture isn’t alone. It’s kept me away from the gym and books, but I’m trying to get back to both. My new toy hasn’t helped the cause though.
Gilmore Girls I hate the Dean and Rory thing. Actually, I think I just hate that she said no to Jess. Yes, asking her to live with him in New York is a bit nuts, but saying she didn’t want to be with him is pretty sad. Still, it was a good episode, and the promo is intriguing. Maybe Rory will be kicked out of the house and the last scene will have her with a suitcase knocking on Jess’s door. If only. Luke made the right moves with the quickness. Jason, take notes.
That is all I can think of to babble about. I’ll read a bit of Ilium. It’s officially overdue as of twenty-five minutes ago. I am considering Amazon, but shipping costs are making me a bit hesitant. I lost my water bottle today. It’s eight inches tall and was full of water. I don’t know how I managed to lose it. My bed sounds good.
