Palm m130

From now on, I will type a good number of my text entries into my brother’s old m130 before they are posted. As far as I can tell, I am able to focus a lot better when typing away from my computer. It has been more than a week since my last text entry, so here’s another fun entry with subtitles.

Ilium. I finished Ilium on Monday. Dan Simmons is the author of the Hyperion novels, and I have no idea what those were like. If they were anything close to Ilium, then I’ll definitely be reading them soon. When I began reading Ilium, I knew that it was book one of a two book story, but I had no idea when the next book was coming. Now I do. Spring 2005 is a long time from now.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. This novel is by Mark Haddon. It was definitely a change of pace after finishing Ilium. It’s written in first person. That person being an autistic fifteen year old. I wish I could be more eloquent, but it was simply great. By the end, the story’s not so much about a dog. I wasn’t about to cry or anything, but the book portrayed life honestly, even through its very different perspective.

Bringing Down the House. No, not the movie. I’ve decided this will be my next book before I jump into Eragon. Sometime a few years ago a group of MIT students took a trip to Las Vegas and almost left with more than a million dollars. Bringing Down the House is a first hand account of what took place. Sounds interesting enough.

iPod. I haven’t added any songs for a week now, but I am still using the device heavily. Protection is taken care of by the iSkin and I am confident keeping it in my pocket and tossing it around a little. Really little. Royce, Murs, and RJD2 have been in rotation. Now I am certain it is RJD2 on that Lotto commercial.

School. I have seven actual class days left, and two tests withing those days. Prom is in two weeks, and I graduate a week after that. I never thought all this would happen so fast. Actually, Prom is only a week from Saturday. I’ll enjoy myself.

Work. Hopefully Skagit’s computer lab needs an assistant. Along with that, I plan to bag on days I am not at the lab. Of course, I still need to get the lab job. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Pictures. I haven’t updated since Sunday. Hopefully, by the tme I actually post this I have an image ready as well. Digital Imaging class is getting better since I have posted more. I think I will go shooting before bed. I’ll see, and you probably will too.

American Idol. Jasmine and Camille should have paid more attention to Trunks and Goten’s fusion dance. They would have had a record deal in the bag like a forty. Or in the drawer where my forks be.

That’s it for now. I really am enjoying this Palm keyboard thing. Maybe I can choose certain times in my day to type something. Right when I wake up, right after work, and right before bed sound good. I’ll try that tomorrow.
