Raining

On Monday, a lady mentioned that the weather couldn’t decide whether to rain or not. Today the clouds talked for an hour or so and decided it was time to pour. A customer told me her car was all the way in the back corner of the parking lot. I laughed but I found out she wasn’t joking.

I did alright though, and ate a wonderful whole rotisserie chicken for lunch. Scrumptious. On the way to the car, either part of the parking lot flooded or it started raining a lot harder. Water was up to my ankles and made its way into my shoe. That hasn’t happened in a while, and I decided not to sweat it. It was a good feeling I guess. I saw Irene about to walk through the same deep area, but I decided she should experience the wet socks feeling as well.

Grad night tickets are on sale until Monday, so I need to get to it. Hopefully they’re still available. A hundred fifteen seems pretty steep for one night, but I’ll never graduate from high school again. Everything is happening so fast. It’s time for class. I need to put some dry pants on.
