I decided it’d be a good idea to do a quick update so that I don’t end up just having 100 links sitting around. The 2006 year in review and final Hawaii posts are almost done. They’ve been ‘almost done’ for a couple of weeks now. It sucks because they feel outdated on top of the fact that they were already outdated. I’ll be make sure to finish those up.
School is the usual, but it makes me think about previous quarters and wonder where I spent all my time. Napping? Beats me. Probably Starcraft, Puzzle Fighter, or 1945.
Virtua Fighter 5 is coming out in a few weeks. But I don’t have a PS3. Bummer. The 360 version is out in August. It’s a little early to get excited for that. It reminds me of how excited I was when Soul Calibur II came out. And how I used to dominate Wally’s Raphael. Then he moved to San Diego and came back to Oak Harbor a few months later for our graduation and said he had a secret character up his sleeve. Then it turned out to just be Raphael again.
All-Star weekend is just around the corner. Hopefully Nate Robinson can take a step forward in improving his image. It sucks to read all the jokes about how many million attempts it’ll take or that he’ll just start a fight. He says he’s got 2 dunks that most everyone hasn’t seen before and he can hopefully win if he executes. He pretty much just has to beat Gerald Green. Unless they let a bunch of people play a pickup game during the contest so Dwight Howard (aka boulders for shoulders) can dunk in traffic. The good part about this is that they’ll show a bunch of classic dunk contest clips of the judges. Another good thing is that the judges will actually have an idea of how hard certain dunks are to pull off. The very best thing is that I wrote that last sentence as if I had any idea.
Which reminds me, Dan’s headed to Vegas next weekend. And I just realized he’d be there during the All-Star break. Oh well, Kenmore and Wanderlust for me!
