Stranger Than Fiction

Pretty good. I started to get a little tired of Will Ferrell after his appearance in Wedding Crashers, but he nails the role of Harold in Stranger Than Fiction. I also really like Dustin Hoffman’s character. I appreciated all the … Continue reading

Black and white pictures of Seattle at night

I hope you enjoyed my miniature poem. I feel like these two pictures worked best in black and white. I could say something like it brings out the texture of the concrete but it’s mostly because the fluorescent lights in the foreground blow out the pictures and it’s even worse when you can see that the lights are orange. I have three more in color, so um stay tuned!

Predalien

At first I thought it looked Pred-y dumb, but I guess it’s not that bad, especially considering how much worse it could’ve looked. But it could be better. Either way, I’ve been pretty excited for this movie anyway, especially after … Continue reading

We’re learning Illustrator in class so I made this

[Update: This was actually for a Communication Design course. This isn’t the actual assignment, we’re supposed to draw a bunch of rectangles and make a web site wireframe. Not as exciting as palm trees.] Forgive me for the cheap post, … Continue reading

Chicken wings

The last few weekends I’ve tried a few methods of making chicken wings. About a month ago, me and Dan went to Wing Dome and feasted. As good as it is, it’s expensive. After tax and tip, it comes out … Continue reading

Philippines Two

There’s a dog camouflaged in the first picture. Heartbreaker. These are all still taken from the trip up Baguio. The last two are at the Lion’s Head, which is up the mountain and sort of signals the entrance to Baguio.

Philippines One

I shot 999 and I’m hoping to post 100, ten at a time. A lot are going to be from the trip to Baguio, shot out the window of a van. Here’s a little bit of jeepney wikipedia:

Jeepneys are a popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They were originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and are well known for their flamboyant decoration and crowded seating. They have also become a symbol of Philippine culture.

Subway changed their steak

I don’t know how late I am on this one, but Subway changed their steak to slices with dimensions around 1.5″x0.75″x0.25″. It actually looks like it was cut from a bigger piece of beef. Previous versions of the steak include … Continue reading

A bunch of guys with their shirts off shopped in A&F. Pretty amusing if you don’t mind a bunch of pictures of shirtless guys (and who doesn’t!) to read through how the whole thing went down. (Via Kottke.)

The Condemned
