Especially the whole notion of having a guy only 2 years removed from being an NBA All-Star. Now we can’t make the NIT. So we had to pay to host a game in the CBI tournament to compete for bragging rights as the 98th best team in the country. It’s the first year for the CBI and already UW set the standard for #1 seeds losing in the opening round. Against Valparaiso? At least they’re from basketball country. There’s always that line of how much you’re supposed to root for conference rivals. I’m hoping UCLA wins the championship, Stanford makes it to the final four, and WSU upsets UNC then loses to Tennessee.
