Joey Chestnut eats 68 hot dogs in 10 minutes, defends title. I stopped enjoying competitive eating when it crossed from a tongue-in-cheek “we take ourselves seriously” to actually taking themselves seriously. But this is the most important contest, and 68’s impressive especially considering the two minutes they lopped off the contest time last year.
