Spent the weekend in Vancouver B.C. Every time I go up there I wonder what the flashing green means and then say I’ll look it up later and then forget about it. I finally looked it up on Wikipedia’s ‘traffic light’ entry. In most countries, flashing green is an “advance green”, meaning complete crossing it if you’re in the intersection but don’t cross if you haven’t entered it yet. But:
