In August, I moved from a single bedroom apartment to a three bedroom with Jason and Bryanth. It’s been great. Looking at these pictures reminds me of how excited all of us were to move into the new spot. Here’s my room, the common area, and the pool and grill area (aka outdoor kitchen stadium). A more important note is that it’s my first adult-sized bed!
I went to a Weezer concert at the Del Mar horse track. We went early enough to catch the races also. I remember contemplating the night before and the day of whether or not to go. In hindsight, I can’t believe there was any thought involved. One of the best days I had last year. Also, Drake was there for both the horse races and Weezer. Pictures or it didn’t happen? The picture speaks for itself.
Lieutenant Cuajunco! Russ came down to LA to take his brother to Six Flags. Since I didn’t want my phone flying out of my pocket, there aren’t any pictures. Which is a little bit of a bummer because it’d add a lot more color to this post. I’d write a review of the rides, but it’s always good to re-use things: I did that three years ago. In more detail than you probably want. Also there’s a video of me, Jason, and Wally on one of those sky swings.
Picked up a Tramontina set. I don’t know enough about cookware to know the difference, but everything the reviews say holds up. The same night, I went to a Japanese market to buy things to try the set out. Beef, pork, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, and some miscellaneous vegetables.
For some reason, the Chula Vista Fresh & Easy gets ridiculous manager’s specials. The one close to me always has eggs and yogurt and wilted lettuce. The one close to Curt’s gets $6.00 filet mignon. We got 3.5 pounds and went to town.
Now for some food I didn’t cook. I go to Da Kine’s all the time for hawaiian plate lunches. Good for lunch. Nothing to write home about, but my blog has a lower barrier. And a lobster dinner with a ridiculous name like lobster sombrero or something.
Here’s the $100 dust collector. Kuya please mail me the charger.
Last two. Tubo in his natural state: mid-Dougie. And Albert and Junior the same night—we called it the border to border pre-party.
That should blink too, unless you happen to be using a browser newer than Internet Explorer 4.
